Looking for aptitude, attitude, and attention to detail.
Invision Technologies is seeking a motivated individual to join our design team as a Fire Alarm Design Trainee.
No fire alarm experience is required.
We will train the right candidate.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with computers, reviewing plans, creating drawings, solving technical problems, and learning new software.
If you have experience with graphic design, drafting software, Bluebeam, CAD, Adobe products, GIS mapping, construction drawings, or other technical software, we would especially like to speak with you.
What You'll Do:
- Create fire alarm layouts using Bluebeam Revu.
- Review architectural and electrical construction drawings.
- Prepare permit documents and project submittals.
- Learn fire alarm design principles and code requirements.
- Work with project managers, installers, and customers.
- Develop skills that can lead to advanced design and engineering opportunities.
